We sincerely believe that surgery can be learnt and taught. There are always those small surgical secrets if shared can help a novice surgeon learn the surgical skills faster and also make him/her a much safer surgeon. It has taken us years to understand the right and the wrong way of doing a particular surgical step, but if the small secrets are shared, one need not spend so many years to understand the common pitfalls.

And this is the goal of this platform. You need not have to spend those years to learn the right way of doing a particular surgical step. We are here to share our surgical experience and to provide you those little tips and tricks which would enhance your surgical skills and make you a better surgeon. Our surgical videos echo these sentiments and are aimed to provide you with these insights of principles and technique of surgery.

When we started our careers in surgical ophthalmology, we always looked upto so many great surgeons and tried to imbibe the skills and more importantly "the thinking process". Every surgeon benefits from a mentor.Technology has made it possible for us to use this portal as a tool for virtual mentoring. We also believe that "teaching is the best form of learning".

We, Dr Sourabh Patwardhan and Dr Deepak Megur, invite you all on this platform to submit your work and participate in discussions. Please feel free to mail us your queries ,suggestions, and an alternate way of dealing with the problem as there is always more than one way to tackle a situation. That is why, surgery is an art based on sound logical reasoning.

We will have sections like "Video of the month" celebrating some great contributions. So Please do share your surgical videos and your work. Our objective is to ensure that the contents of this site benefits each one of you.
