How to tackle soft cataract.Dr Sourabh D Patwardhan demonstrates the technique.
i recommend atleast 5mm CCC in these cases.So that we can do nucleus prolapse and phacoaspiration. after a good hydrodissection, i do a hydrodileneation. while doing this, gently prolapse one pole of nucleus. now with phaco probe down go to the edge of the nucleus but slighly away from CCC margin, give vacuum to aspirate the nucleus. use the non dominant hand to keep rotating the nucleus.
