Phaco in an eye with Non Dilating Rigid pupil Pupil using B Hex ring

Stretching of the pupil is critical when dealing with rigid pupil before using a B HEX ring for pupillary Expansion . This film demonstrates this technique in an elderly patient with Pseudoexfoliation. Once the pupil is retained in the semi dilated position the rest of the surgical procedure becomes routine. The principles of quadrant removal are highlighted.
