The company recommends tybe cartridge for implanting the multipiece Acrysof IOL but it requires the incision to be 3.2 mm, but most if us use 2.8 mm incison or less for our phaco procedure. We can use the type c cartridge for these lenses which which work with 2.8 mm incision.
This video highlights the potential issue with using the c cartridge and tips and tricks to work around the issue.
