Carousel technique for soft cataracts is explained.
Prerequisites- grade 0-1 cataract, ccc size 5-5.5mm, and a good hydrodissection and hydrodileneation is a must. postion of phacotip is at the edge of ccc, with bevel down. Vaccum and flow rate should be high. After debulking the nucleus , prolapse and emulsify. If it fails , then you can go ahead with trench and divide.
